When former stylist Pamela Stewart decided to open her own boutique in 2006, she chose this spacious spot on the same strip that she once prowled for promising new designers. She packed the racks with a dozen carefully chosen local and international lines meant to cater to the neighborhood’s seasoned boutique hunters, consisting mainly of silky, well-constructed cocktail dresses, dainty ballet flats from Bloch, and one-of-a-kind leather and snakeskin-embellished handbags from Mimi Turner. Danish designer Malene Birger is a best seller, with chiffon frocks fit for a night out and oversize patent-leather handbags. For daytime, Nolita De Nimes slim-fitting pants and gauzy Rachel Pally tanks offer sophisticated dressed-down options. New collections arrive seasonally, bringing soft knits and skinny jeans in the fall and an array of feminine, tailored dresses and strappy sandals in the spring. A table near the entryway is covered with girlie tanks for lounging as well as a collection of sterling-silver and gold-vermeil jewelry from celeb favorite Gorjana.
