Wedding dress shopping should be a special, fun, exciting experience. Right? Not at Kleinfelds! They are rude, pushy, and snotty. They don't care if you look good or about fashion. They only care about getting you to spend as much as possible by making you feel really bad about yourself & your budget. After I told my consultant my budget ($3,000), she told me, "the average dress they sell is $6,000." Now, I know it's a low amount for Kleinfelds but I also know people who spent that amount or less there. Nevertheless, it was her attitude that insulted me. She proceeded to walk me into a warehouse-like room to look for dresses on my own while she took a 15 minute phone call. The rest of my appointment, I was pressured like I have never been pressured before...and I'm a litigator! I RAN out of Kleinfelds like my life depended on it.
I shopped at Kleinfelds by appointment. They told me 45 mins into the appt.... "You have 20 minutes left"... They told me on the phone that I would have about 1.5 hours. I felt so rushed.. I also had a woman who couldn't be more annoying. She made me try on this ridiculous Pinnina dress that was way out of my budget and didn't fit my body. She was wasting my time but rushing me!! I felt fat b/c she kept saying.. "Not for your Body!". Thought they were famous for a reason. The place is beautiful but like a factory. I bought a James Clifford elsewhere.
