If your Yorkie rolls his eyes every time you fill his bowl, maybe you should be shopping at Litter & Leashes, which possesses a huge variety of gourmet food for cats and dogs. The crowded, tiny shop’s shelves are lined floor to ceiling with brands like Fromm, Merrick, Newman’s Own, and Canine Caviar (available gluten- and grain-free). There’s also a dizzying selection of cat and dog treats with names like Pup Corn and Gooberlicious, plus a large rack of chew toys near the front door. Although food, snacks, and toys make up the bulk of the stock, customers can also find a good selection of shampoo, pet carriers, bowls, the requisite “princess” doggie tees, and, yes, leashes and lots of litter.
