I saw lamp I liked a lot. Eva- the owner, asked if I wanted to order a new one (this was the floor sample). I said I had a bad experience last year from her store (finally cancelling the order after two months), and she assured me it would not happen again. She said the lamp was at her other store, and it would be in on Tuesday. I said I would pick it up on Wednesday. She took my number to call if there were any problems. When I came to p/u, it wasn't there. The clerk phoned Eva. What happened? She said she forgot- but the lamp would be delivered to me on Thursday morning by 7am. It didn't arrive. I've now called six times over six weeks and have gotten no return phone call. She charged me for the lamp, and has not reimbursed me. Now I have to go through the hassle of contesting the charge with my debit card (big mistake- always pay with Amex!).
