Founded by a former buyer from Screaming Mimi’s, this tiny Queens boutique serves up high-quality vintage items—most under $100, too. A fifties black-and-white taffeta dress and purple sequin caftan typify the glamorous Loveday 31 look. Aside from party dresses, there’s a healthy showing of leather boots, heels, jewelry, and bags from the sixties and eighties, all at wallet-friendly prices you’d be hard-pressed to find for vintage clothing in Manhattan. For a bit more cash, there are some vintage designer names on hand, like Pierre Cardin duffels, Diane Von Furstenberg belts, and Gucci totes.
