French-born collector Corinne Gilbert sells ultramodern home furnishings and accessories from this serene, all-white Williamsburg shop. The space is adorned with avant-garde artwork, like Hanna Sandin’s mobiles made of wire, rope, rubber bands, and nylon netting. Gilbert’s connections extend from European design houses to American flea markets, where she snaps up hard-to-find tableware, sculptures, lamps, mirrors, vases, handbags, and jewelry. Together, the pieces form a carefully curated collection matching the shop’s cleanly designed, classic aesthetic. Some of the best sellers are Sandin’s gold-plated necklaces; Joan Bankemper’s vases (cobbled together from reassembled coffee mugs); Adonde’s modular, grayscale ceramics; and Tse Tse’s porcelain and precious-metal tableware. Gilbert also sells her own creations in the shop, including tote bags and oversize, fluffy scarves. For DIYers, the store stocks a selection of vibrant fabrics from India.
