On a street dotted with high-end boutiques, this low-priced jewelry shop stands out. And what its inventory lacks in quality, it makes up for in quantity: The entire store glitters with a decadent array of earrings, bracelets, and necklaces reflected in mirrors and lit up by a low-hanging glass chandelier. There’s a shelf of cubic zirconium, faux opal, and topaz pieces, all set in sterling silver; a cabinet of pretty, earthy baubles made from Taba palm tree seeds; and a display table showcasing colorful watches with interchangeable faces by the Europe-based company S.T.A.M.P.S. Strewn among the gems are other accessories such as a colorful array of knitted winter hats, gloves, and scarves; leather handbags in red, green, and black; and distressed-leather belts, giving the whole space the feel of a party girl’s cluttered, oversize closet—a voyeuristic thrill irresistible to many a passerby. — Bree Sposato
