Inspired by the rich metalworking traditions of New Delhi, designer Michael Aram creates exquisite, handcrafted pieces of home décor that reference both the natural and ethereal realms. In his sleek flagship store, walls made of cast aluminum tiles and painted-black brick focus attention on his intricate metal dishes, platters, and silverware. Art and nature lovers alike are drawn to the signature Earth collection, filled with polished aluminum leaf trays, nickel-plated vine pitchers, and bark vases with an oxidized copper finish. Meanwhile, the Water collection’s stainless-steel lotus-blossom bowls and glistening river-rock candleholders captivate the Monet-minded. A single row of glass display drawers encourages patrons to take a more hands-on approach in examining elaborate pieces of twig-work cutlery, hand-polished serving sets, and other silver-plated tableware. I was just walking around the city and stopped in my tracks in front of this store. The window is something one just has to see. But what I found inside was great. Platters and vases and bowls and candlesticks in metal and glass. I've seen this brand in Bloomingdales but the store was like walking into a different world. The prices are great and the staff is so helpful. I wish I had registered here when I was a bride! Check it out!

This place is amazing. It's like no other store in Manhattan. The work is completely hand-made and the designs are breathtaking. I can't imagine buying a gift for anyone (including myself) anywhere else!!!
