Profile
In the heart of Williamsburg sits Miniminimarket, an outpost for vintage-inspired clothing, kitschy bedroom knickknacks and a modest selection of flats and heels. The focus here is affordable and girlish (although they do sell men’s tees) and the tiny store, with its red-and-white-checkered flooring, could outfit a Woodstock-leaning hippie chick as effortlessly as it could someone wanting to add a colorful Le Tigre windbreaker to her wardrobe. The absence of sticker shock on racks of dresses from Rojas and Collective Clothing is Miniminimarket’s biggest draw. Little of the store’s merchandise is individually priced, wares are grouped by price and give the shop a thrift-store charm. There’s always a bevy of nostalgic jewelry like animal pendants and calculator watches as well as leopard-print boy shorts to engage your wild side.
