In some ways, this store is like a museum where you can buy what's on exhibit. It has handsome "normal" furnishings like Magnussen flatware, plus freaky-deakies like the Buildings of Disaster souvenir series. Not many people would thinks of this high-design store as a place to find children’s furniture, but savvy adults will be pleased by several items that bridge the gap between kid-functional and style-conscious.
Favorites at this temple for innovative design include the muslin-thin Lobmeyr crystal champagne flutes, idiosyncratic objets like Ted Muehling Branch vases, and decorative bronze crickets.
