When a TV Guide subscription isn't enough, there's the NBC Experience Store. Located directly across from the Today show studios, the dizzying two-story altar to the Peacock network includes a huge video and DVD selection of current favorites (Law & Order) and recent hits (Friends, Frasier, and Seinfeld), as well as NBC miniseries and specials from sister network, Bravo. Besides things to watch, the NBC Experience Store also sells things to wear, from The Apprentice hats and sweatshirts to Cheers tees and Olympic pins, as well as things to read, like The Biggest Loser (a guide to weight loss). The NBC Sweet Shop offers candy and snacks on the third floor. For those who like window-shopping better than the real thing, the store also has a museum in which classic Saturday Night Live props and ancient NBC anchor desks are displayed alongside other TV memorabilia. Tickets are available at the NBC Experience Store for studio tours, which include visits to the sets of NBC Nightly News, Saturday Night Live, and other programs that film in New York City. Tours depart every 15 minutes Friday through Sunday and every half-hour during the week, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sundays. $18.50, $15.50 for seniors and children.
