The New York Golf Center is stocked with all the equipment, threads and extras an avid golf nut needs. Men's and women's shorts come in whimsical Caddyshack colors, while sleekly sporty polos, chinos and cardigans from Polo Golf and Nike are available for a more professional look. Cleats come in everything from classic black-and-white Spectator style down to downright sneaker-like kicks from Puma and Adidas. Of course, there’s equipment, too: irons, wedges, putters and woods that sparkle with titanium and steel shiine. A small selection of used clubs is available for purchase, and the store also has a rental department for the blue-moon player. There’s even a tiny putting green—it’s the store’s way of encouraging hot shots to show off their inner Tiger, or, at least, get a feel for the newest TaylorMade driver. — Chanize Thorpe
