Down a dubious set of stairs, behind a blank metal door, this subterranean men’s clothing store lets its high-concept streetwear do the talking. The multi-level bunker, a former meeting place of the Black Panthers, carries military-inspired men’s sportswear, which includes pea coats and sweaters in the winter, and windbreakers, nautically-striped knits, and printed T-shirts in the spring. In addition to its own collection, Nom De Guerre also carries select accessories like Oliver Peoples sunglasses and Trickers London utilitarian boots.
