In early 2011, the OC Concept store added a New York flagship on Madison Ave. to its established locations in St. Tropez and Courchevel. Catering to Manhattan’s extravagant shoppers, the top floor features unique items like Ruby motorcycle helmets inspired by Steve McQueen, Richard Mille watches designed specifically for store founder Orianne Collins, and a Teckell crystal glass foosball table that doubles as a work of art; there’s also a makeup counter featuring Codage products (proceeds go to the Little Dreams Foundation). Downstairs, the jewelry showroom features Ovale earrings and pendants for women, cufflinks and watches for men, classic and modern Reuge music boxes, and plush couture dog beds. The prices are steep (the dog beds, for example, start at $2,500) but shoppers can console themselves with complimentary champagne, coffee, or tea as they peruse the goods. — Matthew Kitchen
