The Manhattan branch of the popular Greenpoint curiosity shop has a similarly nostalgic aesthetic. Exposed brick, dark wood, and vintage cabinets are decked out boudoir-style with garments and jewelry all loosely united by a nod to old-time Americana. Co-owner Tiffany Porter, former jewelry buyer for Catbird, carefully curates a selection of clothing, accessories, and oddities (think resin skunks and raccoon skulls) from over 70 designers. Expect to find charming twenties-style printed cards and stationery from Austin Press, Pendleton rugs and bags, vintage-inspired clothing from the likes of Dolce Vita, and lots of feather and glass jewelry (Old Hollywood is also the name of the in-house jewelry line). The bestselling “Abe the Babe” pendant is an acrylic dome featuring Abraham Lincoln’s face set in vintage brass, while the LA-designed “Lionshead” cuff is crafted with reclaimed metals.
