Profile
Put simply, Old Navy is a big-city department store that carries only a single brand. Within the walls of its many super-sized locations, customers can find a dozen full wardrobes; from T-shirts to button-downs, jeans to slacks, parkas to shoes, belts to bags, hats and flip-flops; for adults, kids, babies, and moms-to-be. The whole vibe is shopper-friendly if overt: Easy prices, trendy looks, good-quality cotton and hardy denim invite free spending on wardrobe basics. The bright signs, neon lights and eye-grabbing displays in a rainbow of colors— not to mention in-store promotions—hammers home the fact that teenagers are a vaunted target demographic. In reality, though, just about everybody who appreciates a deal shops here, delving into the flea market-like madness. Despite the clamorous atmosphere, the success of the chain will always be its low prices, staple designs and uncanny ability to capture the zeitgeist of off-the-rack fashion. Thankfully, they’ve curtailed the practice of emblazoning Old Navy across every garment.
ExtraThere's a wide selection of printed cotton boxers for men and boys, as well as soft cotton lingerie basics for women, little girls, and ‘tweens.
