Profile
Owner Kay Lee opened Otte in Williamsburg in 1999, catering to the hipster set with staples like the jeans-of-the-moment (think Inhabit, Rogan, Whistle & Flute) and tops by Ulla Johnson and Sonya Rykiel. Four years later, a West Village outpost sprung up, and it’s been a local fave ever since. The Manhattan Otte carries jeans too, as well as fancier tops, dresses, shoes by Sigerson Morrison and Loeffler Randall, bags by Lauren Merkin, and even a sprinkling of underthings by Cosabella. Both locations also feature some up-and-coming labels like Sunner, Mimo, and Elijah. Check out the website since the store’s cyber discounts beat any back rack markdowns you’d find in your average neighborhood shop.
