This vast Nolita branch of Otto Tootsi Plohound offers a huge collection of streetwear along with the regular selection of leather shoes and handbags for which the brand is known. Weekends find plenty of downtown skateboarders and their edgy friends drawn by the wide selection and deep discounts. There are hip-hop-inspired earrings and necklaces, bandanas, baseball hats, and T-shirts with in-the-know logos for both sexes. The wall of sneakers is mostly reserved for the boys and features both budget skate shoes and pricey limited-edition Nikes. Hoodies and sweatshirts with iron-ons of retro idols like the Notorious B.I.G., David Bowie, and Bianca Jagger are the store’s signature items — and are even available in kids’ sizes. — Katie Hintz
