Opened in fall 2008, this Brooklyn outlet collects items from the other three Paul Smith stores in the U.S. and sells them at marked-down (though still considerable) prices. On hand are dapper duds from the British designer, such as soft-suede wingtips, prefitted men’s pinstripe suits, porkpie hats, and luxuriant caramel-leather handbags. This location also carries Paul Smith’s jeans and his “PS” line—T-shirts, cardigans, and parkas at a lower price point. Assorted towels, children’s clothes, and miscellaneous goods like note cards and ukuleles add to the quirkiness quotient.
