Washed in white and sprinkled with accents of Piperlime’s trademark bright green, this 4,000-square-foot boutique opened its doors in September 2012 as the brand’s first and only storefront. The shop’s rustic wooden floors and airy high ceilings, exposed columns, shabby-chic furniture, and potted plants give the space a trendy Soho loft meets modern barn full of all-things-chic feel. A winding installation of 150 pairs of shoes is the focal point, while clothes and accessories are organized in such categories as “Fresh-Picked Denim,” “Girl on a Budget,” and “Guest Editor’s Picks.” Fashion names like Rachel Zoe and Olivia Palermo serve as the store’s guest editors, with their own hand-picked favorites displayed in-store (Palermo reportedly dresses some mannequins herself). Sales associates double as “intuitive stylists,” who can assemble full-on outfits, and kiosks are present for customers to browse online and purchase goods not available in-store to be delivered free.
