Owner Doris Wade opened this South Harlem store in 2006 for area residents seeking specialty items for pampered pooches and felines, such as designer puppy chow, natural grooming aids, and zany outfits. She not only carries natural products from Innova, organic meals from Newman’s Own, and holistic foods from Eagle Pack, she also stocks basic Iams. There’s a range of accessories, from chew toys and shampoos to custom-made zirconia and rhinestone identity necklaces and “Armani”-scented dog cologne. The gorgeous collection of reasonably priced furry-friend transport bags are airline-approved and, save for their telltale airholes, could pass for stylish purses.Pet Clothing
While the store carries a small amount of Dogo doggiewear, the store is designing its own line of matching adult and puppy clothes set to make their debut in spring 2008.
