Profile
Italian designer Miuccia Prada repeatedly delivers the must-have styles and accessories, season after season. Savor the wallets, handbags, and luggage; the leather detailing is impeccable, much to the chagrin of every Canal Street knock-off vendor. — Carolyn Murnick

Narrow black suits (from $2,800), dress shirts (about $375), and nylon
accessories are staples at Prada. The single tuxedo, with a three-button jacket,
is $3,100. Streamlined tailoring is worth the splurge.
If you expect Christinia one of the
salespersons at Prada Madison to
find your needed item that is not
at the store she works in, forget it. She actually LIES and says that the item is sold out across the country, when the
item actually was at the 5th Avenue
store which I luckily found through
my own telephone inquiry. What
is wrong with these people??
Extremely snooty sales people.
Apparently they forgot why they
were hired. If you don't
continue to use the same salesperson all the time they
will refuse to wait on you.
For presales, they were calling
customers up in front of me,
but refused to acknowledge that
the presale was that day and
because I didn't have a regular
salesperson, the merchandise that
I wanted was at another Prada
which they refused to order for
me until I called for the manager
of the store. Their loyalty
to their customers is so
endearing. (Ha Ha).
None of the Prada sales people in
the other NY stores are very good
but the Madison store is the worst.
