Profile

This venue is closed.

There's no lift to the second floor, but this massive shop does have all the top names in skis (Rossignol). Last season's skis go for significantly less than new ones. Downstairs are snowboards from Burton and others, as well as gear and clothing from makers like Spyder and the North Face.

I disagree with the previous reviewer. A lovely elderly, European woman helped me with every step of selecting a ski jacket. I must have pulled over 30 jackets and perhaps another 10 pairs of ski pants to try on and she still treated me extremely well. They carried a great selection of top brands; there were plenty of items on sale as well for those not wanting to pay full price.

Went to this Flatiron location for the first time. The customer service provided by the manager and her clerks was well below sub par. No one offered me any help and I had to hunt down an employee. When I did manage to find someone that worked there, they had minimal knowledge of the sports their store represents, I doubt any of these people are actual skiers, snowboarders etc. I requested help from the manager, she walked away and gabbed on the phone for about 15 min about what gifts she received for Christmas, and NEVER returned to me with answer for my question. Another employee would refuse to help you unless you were a guy she could flirt with. Ridiculously RUDE AND INDIFFERENT EMPLOYEES. NOT WORTH THE TIME OR MONEY.
