Profile
Spiderman. The Walking Dead. The Squirrel Mother Stories. Rocketship is nothing if not inclusive, a fact made clear not just by its stock of traditional comic books (plus a fair share of girlie choices thanks to its female co-owner) but also in its respectable assortment of obscure mini-comics hailing from as far afield as Australia or, within the United States, Los Angeles. The devotion to the graphic artists behind the works themselves is also reflected in rotating art exhibitions (coinciding with releases every two months) and book signings held nearly every two weeks. For either type of event, there’s never a cover charge.
