Profile

Founded by a band of the same name in the 80’s, this no-frills shoebox store is jam-packed with used, repaired, and refurbished musical instruments and accessories. This is no Guitar Center, though, musicians and techies are known to walk over before playing a show at nearby Madison Square Garden to get a last-minute repair or have a look at the notorious selection of everything from $16 effect pedals to Moog keyboards. One of the more unique aspects of Rogue’s used instruments is that they all come with a three-month warranty, so if you decide that your ’63 Gibson SG isn’t up to snuff, you don’t have to just suck it up like you would if you had bought it at another store. Besides, Rogue’s long list of celebrity friends includes Neil Young and P. Diddy, so you know you’re in good hands.

Buy or Sell

Rogue doesn’t just sell used instruments; the store also buys new and used gear.
