This husband-and-wife owned neighborhood stationery shop is a steady presence along Park Slope’s ever-evolving Fifth Avenue. The mainstay of the slender one-room space is a tasteful and extensive collection of hand-made and letterpress greeting cards, including whimsical designs by brands like Egg Press, Fiddlesticks, Snow & Graham, Tall Cow, and Brooklyn-based Side Pony. Those who want customized cards can bring in their desired image and text; the store then creates a sample card for proofreading and prints the set in one to four weeks. Among the vast array of gift items are loose sheets of wrapping paper in eclectic prints like wood paneling, a map of Brooklyn, and skull and bones; notebooks adorned with butterflies or French script; and hand-crafted picture frames. About a quarter of the store is devoted to children’s items: toys, organic onesies, and fun New York-centric books with titles like “I Live in Brooklyn,” “New York, New York,” and “My Taxi Ride.”
