Yang’s dresses can be stunning (a re-embroidered raw organza dress has a neckline that plunges into a mermaid cut) or sweet (one strapless design has a demure tulle neckline). Made-to-order or custom gowns are available and samples are heavily discounted. Check out the East Village sample store (328 E. 9th St., nr. Second Ave.) before heading to the flagship location in Tribeca. Alterations not included.

We made 3 visits to Selia Yang. Couldn't be more impressed by the service and assistance. The selection has beautiful gowns as well as evening wear. I would recommend it highly.

Go to The Little Gown Co. instead, save the cash and avoid an @$$
