This internationally inspired jewelry shop offers designs ranging from diamond pavé skulls and serpentine yellow gold snakes to tiny pansy earrings and sapphire-studded heart pendants. Australian transplant Nora Kogan opened the shop with her girlfriend, Karen Mancuso, in February 2009, outfitting the space with black-and-blue walls and graffiti-inspired murals by artist Guy Benfield. Kogan has lived in nine countries and culls inspiration from her international upbringing, incorporating Japanese and medieval European elements into her creations. The shop also sells skull candles, beaded African bracelets, and a small assortment of books reflecting the owners’ personal tastes, from food to architecture.
