Upon walking into a Strawberry, one's first realization is that all the hours spent on eBay securing the details of last year's Halloween costume (yellow superhero tights, princess-inspired elbow length gloves, a striped top hat) were all for naught had you known that this bizarro-Forever 21 even existed. The clothes are organized more or less by the whims of customers who placed unwanted articles back on whatever rack was nearest to their dressing room, and the lingerie section has inexplicably conflated "sexy" with "rhinestone-studded." If you're willing to devote the time and energy to sifting through the overcrowded selections, you'll eventually uncover a fashionable and financial steal of a dress. But the real shopping thrills lie beyond the discount racks, occasionally down a flight of stairs: Strawberry sells remarkably cute knock-off shoes at about a quarter of the price of higher-end retail stores. — Annsley Chapman

DEFECTIVE PRODUCT & TERRIBLE RUDE SERVICE!!!‎

I purchased a DEFECTIVE dress at this store on 9/20/08, which had halls in it. I went back to return it the same evening, and received the WORST SERVICE EVER! The male employee was rude, haven't even say "Please, sign here", just pointed to the line with mean and unhappy face, as if it was my fault that I returned their defective product, nor haven't said "Sorry for any inconvenience". When I asked who is the manager there, he said: "What do you think? Than, I asked for his business card or name, he wouldn't provide it. He said: "What can you do? Go and complain all you want. We don't have to be nice here and apologize for defective stuff. We gave you the money back and be happy..." He asked me to leave the store and threatened me with police after I asked for his apologizes for being rude to me. I could not believe that it was happening to me in Manhattan. I'll make sure that this incident as well is the quality of their products are known to as many people as it is possible!
