The Suarez family has been selling its high-quality, decently priced Italian totes to the handbag-obsessed since 1938, so it's no surprise they’ve gotten to know their clientele well in that time. Matthew Suarez, the designer behind the discreetly chic brand, has created styles to fit each personality that walks through his door. Classic briefcases nod to the Park Avenue banking sector while the exotic alligator- and ostrich-skin hobos and pochettes draw in notables like Melania Trump, Uma Thurman, and Hillary Clinton. Over-the-top treats—like rainbow-casting translucent suede clutches, jackets decked out with eye-popping Swarovski crystals, or small mink-bottomed purses that feature removable necklaces—are scattered around the store.
