At this elegant boutique, rich, dark-wood floors and playful gray-, pink- and white-striped walls reinvent the classic boudoir. Co-owners and sisters Sonia and Cindy wanted to create the kind of space where women could come with their friends to play dress-up in a near perfect dream closet. In contrast to the ultrafemme surroundings, however, the clothes on offer tend to be modern and edgy, with interesting silhouettes and unusual lines. The main focus is on handpicked dresses, slacks, denim, and outerwear by established but hard-to-find designers such as RN Convertibles, Sonia by Sonia Rykiel, Ilana Moses and LeFull. But jewelry by Made Her Think and handbags by Bliss Lau are also available, as are a few selections from the siblings' personal line Soni & Cindy. — Amanda Theunissen
