In 1954, this international textile-manufacturing company opened its mill in Sunbury, Pennsylvania, and today produces 2,000 patterns a year, including floral-patterned jacquards and performance fabrics like Sunbrella (which doesn’t lose color despite exposure to sunlight) and Crypton (a soft, stain-resistant material popular with restaurants). The sales headquarters and showroom is open by appointment only and limited to decorators and industry. Its high-quality textiles go into homes, boats, and hospitality and health-care institutions, and have a variety of applications in flags and banners, corporate logo products, outdoor furniture, and clothes.
