At this Williamsburg vintage shop, owner Lyuba Radovich takes pieces from the sixties and seventies and refashions them into looks more appropriate for trendy girls whose style is part modern-Brooklyn, part Grand Ole Opry. Baggy blouses made of kitschy fabric are turned into fitted tops; floor-length tiered skirts get second lives as two or three minis. Radovich works informally, trying things on herself to see how she can improve them. The resulting clothes are retro confections, showcased in a teacup of a storefront as charming as its wares. Campy knickknacks and framed art (all for sale) adorn every spare inch: Clothes are hung from long tree branches rather than closet rods, and Hank Williams plays all day, every day.
