Tejani carries elegant bridal costume jewelry dreamed up by designer Urvi Prunier and handcrafted by artisans in Mumbai, India. In the small appointment-only shop, each customer gets an hour by herself to browse the silver and gold pieces embellished with Austrian crystals, pearls, and semiprecious stones. There are racks of earrings (lots of chandeliers, no studs), bracelets (stackable bangles, heftier pieces with two-inch-thick crystal filigree), and statement necklaces with varying degrees of Old Hollywood glam. Each piece comes in silver, gold, antique silver, or antique gold—and can be customized for size and with semiprecious stones of the bride-to-be’s choice. The smaller bridesmaid collection features bangles and earrings with crystal accents in a rainbow of hues. And because lugging a wedding dress around isn’t ideal, the service-driven shop will bring a selection of jewels to a prospective customer’s dress fitting without a fee or any obligation to buy. — Katie Hintz
