A few clippers and packets of plant food are the only real garden supplies on hand at this tiny Park Slope garden shop; the rest of the stock is a decorative hodgepodge for both outdoors and in. Weathered-looking garden statues, porcelain bird-feeders, holeless cachepots, and delicate bird-motif tea sets can all be found. As for flora, there’s everything from low-maintenance dried King Protea or kiwi-branch arrangements to robust potted orchids, which can last for months—or longer—if given the proper care. A refrigerator on one side of the store is well stocked with hydrangeas, lilies, and the like, and several steel-topped tables in the back are the hub for Park Florist’s cutting business, which can swing anything from a loose bouquet for an evening’s date to an entire wedding’s worth of arrangements.
