Brides can browse this brick-walled appointment-only shop—only a block away from the York Street station—without worrying about a time limit or dress limit. A long, carpeted hallway with a mirror at the end—flanked by several large dressing rooms—works as a makeshift aisle. All dresses are kept in the back and, after listening to a bride-to-be’s wish list (i.e. strapless, crème, no embellishment), a staff member will bring out options from designers including Anjolique, Enzoani, Blue by Enzoani, and Mikaella Bridal. All gowns are white or crème with necklines such as strapless, sweetheart, V-neck, tank, halter, A-line, and off–the-shoulder. The shapes—from a curve-hugging mermaid to empire or fuller princess skirts, some with lifts—accommodate a variety of body types. Overall, the selection would appeal to those on a mid-range budget seeking classic styles. Because the shop works with smaller bridal houses, gowns come in close to fit. An on-site seamstress does the final adjustments and can also make custom veils. Premade veils, white silk shoes, gloves, hair clips, feathered and netted headpieces, and jewelry are also available.Sales
