This shoebox-size boutique on a side street in Dumbo stocks a handful of urban, mainly West Coast apparel brands for women and men. The shop was founded in 2007 by local art dealer Jan Larsen, who also sells contemporary paintings and Pop Art sculptures from his gallery down the street. The Manhattan Bridge extends directly overhead, and the roar of traffic is audible despite a blaring indie-rock soundtrack. The limited space allows for no more than ten designers at a time, focusing on streetwear and quality denim. Alife sneakers, Salvage thermal shirts, and tees and jackets from Triple Five Soul make up the bulk of the selection for men, while the store’s central table is stacked with women’s jeans by WeSC and 4Stroke. New merchandise arrives seasonally, along with a fresh batch of artwork for the walls. — Lauren Murrow
