Sisters Grace and Annie Szuwala have been in the watch-repair business since 1978. “In the beginning, people were skeptical because they thought we were too young,” remembers Grace. “They wanted to know where the repairmen were.” For the record, there are no men at Time Pieces, just hundreds of antique watches and clocks for sale. The ladies, who learned their craft in Poland, will also repair everything from wristwatches to grandfather clocks (house calls available). Simple repairs on anything from Seikos to Rolexes are done overnight; complete overhauls take about two weeks.
