This exclusive German clothing store fits right in on Madison Avenue, close to similar high-end establishments like Brooks Brothers and Paul Stuart. While this boutique has a much more intimate space, it carries hundreds of men’s dress shirts made of fine Italian flannel, silk, or cashmere, all with the label’s signature three-holed buttons. There are also plenty of matching ties and luxe silver- and gold-plated cufflinks — some even glittering with Swarovski crystals. Though the emphasis is on menswear, women, too, can find quality work attire, like blazers and sweaters made of Lora Piana cashmere. And both men and women can use the made-to-measure shirt service, which allows clients to choose a solid, gingham, plaid, or striped-print design; collar style; darting; and monogramming.
