These last two weeks, I have done the “Lingerie Sales Test”: I visit various lingerie stores, as a suit-wearing young Asian business professional. While looking for a little something to make my girlfriend feel like a million bucks, I check out how the service stacks up. Mandatory stop: Victoria’s Secret. I visited two flagship two-story stores: the Lincoln Center and Herald Square location. Inside, a dozen of different styles await, from young (and budget) to figure-shaping underwear to beauty products. At the Lincoln Center branch, the saleslady urged me to feel free to ask questions or go upstairs to view more. While I did not make a sale, I would come back soon. On visiting the 34th street location, while pursuing perfect “Pink” panties, the salespeople helped to find my girlfriend’s size and happily explained the intricacies of v-string vs thong vs boyshort etc. At the cash register, the smiling Asian cashier sympathized with my valiant underwear shopping duties. While the goods are neither unique nor “fine lingerie” like in other stores, the undergarment diversity and reasonable prices will keep both ladies and courageous guys alike in the stores. Seems like everyone I have dated LOVES Victorias Secret.After purchasing several gifts here,I also began to receive their catalogue,which is wonderful(Especially for a man.!)Great prices, and I love seeing the items on the ladies!!!.
