Profile

With a half-dozen different songs blaring throughout the premises, kiosks stocked with electronics and clothes at every intersection, a full cafe, and walls of listening stations running as far as the eye can see, the Virgin Megastore isn't shy about strutting its stuff. But maybe that's appropriate for a record store with such extensive stock in pop, rock, hip hop, country, classical, jazz, and even world music. In addition to music, there's rack upon rack of DVDs, too, plus video games, dance CDs, and a sparse selection of vinyl. The bookshelves carry what you'd expect from a trend-chasing behemoth: The Pop Culture section is larger than the Fiction & Literature one, but there's a worthy selection of art and photography books for your coffee table.

The Times Square Virgin Megastore on Broadway is similiar to others around the world. And the world is ususaly buying at this store. Very good selection. But the service is even than worse than the Paris store!
