This eyewear boutique is not the only one in Astoria, but its impressive array of lenses makes it one of the best. Prices are slightly higher than competitors', but there’s an extensive selection of high-quality popular brands, including Prada, Oliver Peoples, Tom Ford, and Roberto Cavalli displayed against lime-green walls along with children’s frames, sunglasses, and luxury brands like Judith Leiber and Lindberg. Workstations in the center of the floor provide areas for customers to fill orders, while a comfortable waiting area in the back seats people who want to see the on-site optometrist (he works twice a week: Sunday and Monday). Another bonus: A second, additional room in the back serves as a lab—all frames and lens jobs are completed in house.
