Opened in 2003, Vosges specializes in exquisite truffles infused with odd ingredients: Jamaican beer, wasabi, and wild-fennel pollen. What to try: The "Rooster Truffle"—dark chocolate with Taleggio cheese.
The first time I went to New York City, I remembered hearing about this place and wanted to go there very badly. I got in the cab with my mom and sister and we arrived to this cute store. We went inside, and it was like a chocolate lover's heaven. We looked at the chocolate products lining the walls and as we grabbed a little of everything, we got to the counter and started buying even more. Amazing chocolate truffles and chocolate covered strawberries; their chocolate is to die for. My personal favorite is The Black Pearl which is dark chocolate and wasabi. However, I was a little disappointed by the selection. Even though they had tons to choose from, they said that their Chicago location had more. Hopefully they will add on so we can indulge even more.
