Profile
This effortlessly cool seasonal concept store is the brainchild of longtime surfers and husband-and-wife duo, Winnie Beattie and Rob Magnotta. In the summertime, they turn the space into an ode to seaside aesthetics, peppering the shop with vintage surf magazines, travel books, and found objects to create an urban hippie vibe. There’s even a small backyard for customers to relax in mid-shop with coffee and a book. Inside, steel-drum music lulls shoppers into a tropical trance as they peruse the varied selection of warm weather goods, beachwear, unique accessories like handmade Tibetan necklaces, and the store’s brand of body oils and fragrances. Beattie has an eye for up-and-comers, so expect wares from established designers like Vanessa Bruno and Yvonne Sporre alongside pieces culled from the troves of emerging talents worldwide, like French lingerie line Roseanna. As for the winter, there are plans to turn the shop into a ski lodge when the cold weather hits.
Outdoor Nail SpaIn the summer months, Warm offers manicures in their backyard by the Butter London team Thursdays and Fridays.
