After fifteen years in a tiny West Village outpost that was principally a workshop, jeweler Wendy Mink moved to this 500-square-foot Lower East Side boutique. Mink, who used to design jewelry for Banana Republic, makes affordable earrings, necklaces, and bangles with eye-grabbing color and ornamentation. Even the store is a work of her own design; she created a mosaic in its entryway using semiprecious stones from her original showroom. For sale there are 22-carat-gold-filigree earrings, chunky necklaces, and crocheted hoops. — Aja Mangum
