Profile
Spamalot has been a hit with Python groupies and tourists all along, but with Clay Aiken now onboard as Sir Robin, the show’s getting big laughs from everyone. (To say nothing of the slightly odd but very real thrill he’s giving a certain subset of ladies.) As Ariel Levy writes in her profile of the Idol, “In a Broadway musical, Clay Aiken is perfect—he can throw that cheesy, octave-spanning man-voice of his around all he wants and hit all those honky gospel notes.”
