By the time of his death in March, Horton Foote was considered a major American playwright, but his final work is far grander than anything we saw during his lifetime. The Orphans’ Home Cycle is a behemoth, made up of nine plays presented in three triptychs (on a variety of schedules, including marathons that go straight through its nine hours).
