LORI

Lori is the kind of straight-talking New York "dame" you would associate with 1940s RKO movies, the one who would eventually win over the leading man with wise cracks, a gutsy spirit, and good looks. Lori is 34 years old. She has blue eyes, very dark brown hair, a voluptuous figure and, most importantly, street smarts. This formerly working-class Jewish girl from Long Island has risen to become the owner of a very successful company that organizes parties and gets celebrities to attend high-profile events in the city.

Lori makes conversation effortlessly and is very frank about her past. Her mother is a serial bride who has been married five times. Lori is the youngest of five children of multiple marriages (there are 21 years between her and her eldest sister). From the age of 15, she became part of the NYC party crowd. Lori talked her way into the hottest nightspots and organized her own parties and events.

She moved to the city as soon as she could and studied communications and advertising at NYU before going to work in TV. She clawed her way up through the ranks and eventually got into celebrity booking, where her shrewdness and ability to turn a "no" in to a "yes" made her one of the best bookers in town.
