D.J. Rekha isn't the ballyhooed queen of Bollywood-style beats for nothing: The giddy grooves that drive her monthly party draw lines around the block. And with New Yorkers so fascinated with South Asian culture—incorporating it into their rap music, fine dining, and Broadway shows—expect those late-night lines to grow longer and those free dance lessons at the early hour of 9 p.m. to sound more enticing.

this place was terrible. $16 to get in. People were leaving this shit hole left and right. Music was good but scene sucked. $12 for a watered down drink and about 20 females out of 300 people is just wrong. Whats up to the two hot spanish chicks.

Authentic bhangra scene.. probably the only one I have seen in NYC.. The dance class is cool and so is the dholi later on ...u might get a little bored with some punjabi rap in between ....but there is absolutley no Hip HOP @ this desi event
