I was just waking up between the time the towers were hit and the collapse of Two WTC. I thus missed much. When I heard the news that the first tower fell, I was numb.

I didn't believe it was happening. I went down to vote in the Primary and there was a sense that what I was doing was bizarre. The policeman was standing with his radio to his ears and he had a strange expression on his face. He looked at the few voters in the room and at the personnel at the table and said calmly "The second tower just fell." I thought, my God, the lives! I went back home, turned on the radio and sat there transfixed.
